Firstly you will meet your Egyptian speaking assistant at airport, then you will be transferred to the Egyptian museum which is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display, the remainder in storerooms. Built in 1901 by the Italian construction company Garozzo-Zaffarani to a design by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the edifice is one of the largest museums in the region. After that you will have your lunch at quality restaurant Then you will enjoy with a tour in old Cairo, firstly you will visit The Hanging Church which is one of the oldest churches in Egypt and the history of a church on this site dates to the third century. It belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. Then you will visit Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, which is also known as Abu Serga, dating back to the 4th century.
Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church is traditionally believed to have been built on the spot where the Holy Family, Joseph, Mary and the infant Jesus Christ, rested at the end of their journey into Egypt. They may have lived here while Joseph worked at the fortress.
After that you will visit mosque of Amr ibn al-As which was originally built in 641–642 AD, as the center of the newly founded capital of Egypt, Fustat. The original structure was the first mosque ever built in Egypt and the whole of Africa. Through the twentieth century, it was the fourth largest mosque in the Islamic world. Then you will be transferred to train station to take the sleeper train to Aswan .
